About our client
Our client is a French company renowned for its expertise in designing innovative medical systems. They specialize in complex sub-assemblies, particle accelerators, and cutting-edge medical systems. Particularly recognized for their radiotherapy solutions, their technology uses very high-energy electrons to target deep-seated cancers.

Technological challenges
This project involved creating custom enclosures for a medical machine, consisting of 46 distinct parts made of PC V0 plastic, ABS, and CNC-machined stainless steel. The main challenges included:

Large size, precision assembly:
The biggest part measured 1.7 meters long, 1.1 meters wide, and 1.4 meters high. Achieving strict assembly precision while avoiding deformation of large parts and ensuring accurate component fits posed a significant technical challenge.

Custom manufacturing and assembly complexity:
Due to the size of the parts, it was impossible to manufacture them in a single block. Therefore, they were cut into pieces, assembled, and bonded back together. This custom casing process required advanced expertise to ensure structural integrity and maintain the strength of the different sections.

Finish and color consistency:
Finishing and silk-screen printing of the logo were critical for the client. Color consistency across all parts had to be guaranteed. Pantone reference boards were used to precisely control paint ratios and avoid any color variation.

High-precision quality control:
Over 120 pages of testing documentation were produced to validate compliance with the client’s 2D drawings. Rigorous dimensional, visual, and assembly inspections were performed to ensure a flawless final product.
